Department of Registry KSU Kabba Organizes 3-Day Workshop for Its Staff
As part of the efforts of the management to advance Kogi State University, Kabba among tertiary institutions globally, the registry department, which is central to the school, has organized a 3-day workshop for its staff to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency.
The workshop with the theme: Professionalism in University Administration was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor, Professor Kehinde Eniola at the university’s main campus.
He urged participants to view it as an opportunity to acquire the necessary skills for smooth day-to-day operations.
He emphasized the university’s transition to a digital environment and the importance of preparing the workforce to compete globally, especially given the vital role of the registry in record-keeping for the institution.
The Registrar, Dr. Joel Amodu, highlighted the comprehensive nature of the registry department and emphasized the need for thorough training to optimize staff performance. He stressed the importance of training in preventing staff from feeling overwhelmed by their responsibilities and announced that such training would be a recurring feature as the school progresses.
Participants praised the university’s management for the innovative training and expressed their commitment to applying their newfound skills to enhance their work.
The Public Relations Officer, Hon. Tade Oshaloto, emphasized the significance of the training in preparing the registry staff to fulfil their responsibilities effectively and efficiently.
