Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin Mourns Passing of Beloved Lawmaker, Barr. Hon. Muhammad Danjumma Hassan

The Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, has extended his condolences to the family and constituents of the late Barr. Hon. Muhammad Danjumma Hassan, who represented Dawakin Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

The lawmaker passed away on Friday at a hospital in Abuja, leaving behind a legacy of service, leadership, and dedication to democratic governance.

Senator Jibrin described the late Barr. Hon. Hassan as a stabilizing pillar in the legislative arm of government, known for his wisdom, experience, and calm disposition.

He was a bridge-builder and consensus-driven leader who earned respect across political, ethnic, and social divides.

The Deputy Senate President prayed for the departed soul’s forgiveness and eternal rest, while urging the people of Kano State and Dawakin Kudu/Warawa constituency to remain united in their grief.

He also commiserated with Governor Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf and the government of Kano State over the loss of a trusted ally and dependable leader.

The Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, representing Kano North Senatorial District, extends his deepest condolences to the good people of Dawakin Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituency, members of the House of Representatives from Kano State, and especially to the family of the late Barr. Hon. Muhammad Danjumma Hassan, who represented Dawakin Kudu/Warawa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.

The passing of Barr. Hon. Muhammad Danjumma Hassan, which occurred on Friday at a hospital in Abuja, came as a rude shock and a deeply painful loss. His death has cast a shadow of grief across Dawakin Kudu/Warawa, Kano State, and beyond, marking the end of a life devoted to service, leadership, and the advancement of democratic governance.

Senator Barau I. Jibrin described the late lawmaker as a stabilizing pillar within the legislative arm of government. His wisdom, experience, and calm disposition fostered unity, cooperation, and effective lawmaking. Throughout his tenure, he demonstrated uncommon dedication to the welfare of his constituents, legislative excellence, and the strengthening of democratic institutions.

He further noted that Barr. Hon. Muhammad Danjumma Hassan was a bridge-builder and a consensus-driven leader who earned the respect of colleagues across political, ethnic, and social divides. The Deputy Senate President also highlighted the late lawmaker’s enduring commitment to grassroots development, youth empowerment, and inclusive governance, noting that his contributions will continue to resonate for years to come.

He emphasized that the vacuum created by his demise will be deeply felt within the political and legislative community.
Senator Barau I. Jibrin extends his heartfelt sympathies to the immediate family, friends, political associates, and loved ones of the late Barr. Hon. Muhammad Danjumma Hassan, praying that Almighty Allah grants them the strength, patience, and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
