Distinguished Senator Garba Musa Maidoki Congratulates Newly Elected Executives of Kebbi Motor Dealers Association.

In a show of unwavering support for grassroots leadership and economic development, the Distinguished Senator Garba Musa Maidoki, representing Kebbi South Senatorial District, has congratulated the newly inaugurated executives of the Kebbi State chapter of the Association of Motor Dealers of Nigeria (AMDON).
The swearing-in ceremony, which took place in Birnin Kebbi, witnessed a significant turnout of stakeholders, government officials, business leaders, and members of the motor dealers’ association. The event marked the formal assumption of office by the newly elected officials, who are expected to steer the affairs of the association for the next four years.
Senator Maidoki, extended his heartfelt congratulations to the new chairman, Alhaji Usman Abubakar-Danladi, and the entire executive team. He described their election as a reflection of the confidence reposed in them by the members of the association and urged them to remain focused, united, and committed to the development of the automotive trade sector in Kebbi State.
While commending the peaceful and transparent nature of the electoral process that led to their emergence, Senator Maidoki emphasized the importance of cooperation among the newly elected officials. “Leadership is a trust and a heavy burden to carry,” he noted. “You must know that you will account for your stewardship both here and hereafter.”
He specifically called on the newly elected Chairman, Alhaji Usman Abubakar-Danladi, to consolidate on the gains of his predecessor and to prioritize unity, transparency, and the welfare of members. The Senator also praised the outgoing Chairman, Alhaji Muhammad Bala-Kalgo, for his diligent service and notable contributions, particularly his cooperation with the administration of His Excellency, Governor Nasir Idris of Kebbi State.
Senator Maidoki used the opportunity to highlight the strategic importance of Kebbi State in Nigeria’s auto trade landscape. “Kebbi is a vital trade corridor for car dealers, widely recognized across the country, especially given its proximity to international borders with Benin and Niger Republics,” he remarked.
He also lauded the cordial working relationship between AMDON Kebbi chapter and the state government, urging the association to deepen its collaboration with security agencies to ensure the safety of lives and property. “The role of motor dealers extends beyond commerce,” he said. “You are key players in securing our communities by ensuring proper documentation of vehicles and aiding security surveillance.”
Furthermore, Senator Maidoki encouraged the association to continue aligning its activities with the policies of the state government, stressing that such synergy is vital for sustainable economic growth. “Your association is not just a business platform; it is a key stakeholder in the development of Kebbi State,” he added.
He concluded by calling on all members of the association across the 21 local government areas of the state to support the new leadership in the interest of unity, progress, and collective development.
