Dr Musa Sandra showers encomium on Kogi First lady, receives praises for supporting flood victims
Dr.Musa Sandra, Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on State Emergency Management Agency, commended Her Excellency Hajiya Sefinat Ododo for donating cash and essential supplies to women who recently gave birth at the IDP camps.This gesture aims to reduce financial and medical challenges faced by flood victims.
Supporting Vulnerable Mothers
Hajiya Ododo, represented by Mrs. Margaret Oyibo,Wife of the Deputy Governor,emphasized the importance of accessing health facilities to reduce childbirth complications.She reaffirmed Gov. Ahmed Ododo’s administration commitment to improving health indices across the state.
Her Excellency,Hajiya Ododo donated food items,cash,and clothings to nursing mothers,Mrs.Halirat Isah,who had preterm twins and Mrs Abraham who had a daughter, She promised continuous support for vulnerable persons.
Wife of Kogi Assembly Speaker,Hajia Zainab Ahmadu facilitated with the families for safe delivery and prayed for God’s blessings.
SEMA Executive Secretary,Alh.Muktar Atimah stressed the importance of the visits,as giving hope to the needy.
Chief Medical Director, Prof.Isah Adagiri appreciated Her Excellency,Hajiya Ododo’s humanitarian efforts.
Beneficiaries,Mallam Halirat Isah and Mrs Happiness Abraham,expressed gratitude for the gesture,stating it will alleviate their suffering and bring succour to their families.
