Easter Celebration: Kogi HoS, Dr. Evinemi enjoins Christians to reflect on the lessons of the festival.
The Kogi State Head of Civil Service, Dr Elijah Evinemi, has urged the Christian faithful to reflect on the lessons of the Easter celebration, which commemorated the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Lokoja, Dr. Evinemi extended warm greetings to all Christian faithful in the state, describing Easter as a season that embodies the profound values of sacrifice, hope, love, and renewal.
He noted that the resurrection of Christ is not only the cornerstone of the Christian faith but also a powerful reminder of the triumph of light over darkness and life over death.

Dr. Evinemi stated that, “Easter is a powerful reminder of faith and the grace that comes with perseverance, even in the face of adversity.
He urged the state workforce to draw inspiration from this season to renew their commitment to selfless service, integrity, and unity needed for the overall development of the state.
He also called on all civil servants to use the Easter celebration as an opportunity to reflect on their roles as custodians of public trust and to recommit themselves to the service of their fatherland.
Dr Evinemi wished Christians and the entire people of the state a joyful and peaceful celebration and prayed that the season would bring renewed strength, spiritual upliftment, and enduring peace to all homes and communities across the state.
