Easter: Rt. Hon. Leke Abejide preaches love and sacrifice
The member representing the good people of Yagba East, Yagba West, and Mopamuro Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Leke Abeiide has felicitated with his constituents particularly the Christian faithful and the people of Kogi State as they celebrate this year’s Easter which signifies the commemoration of the life, crucifixion, and resurrection of Our Lord, Jesus Christ.
In his Easter message, he urged Christians to continue to imbibe the virtues of love and the spirit of sacrifice, reflecting on the lessons of Christ.
Hon. Leke Abejide commended Christians for their devotion during the forty days of the Lenten season which has offered a pathway to spiritual prayers, fasting, and sacrifice, and encouraged them to sustain the virtues of spirituality through compassion and peaceful coexistence according to the teachings surrounding the season of Easter celebration.

Easter symbolises, love, sacrifice, and virtues that are critical to building a better society, the essence is the death, resurrection, and the peace these have brought to the believers in Christ which is the true significance of Easter.
Let us not forget all the teachings and preachings that have been taught during this period by ensuring that we extend love to one another and keep a community that promotes the interests of everyone.
Hon. Abejide commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his several reforms and Alhaji Usman Ododo for his commitment to leadership. Although the country has its own challenges, this is a period to commend the leadership of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for always displaying true leadership.
As we reflect on the importance of the season, let us remain hopeful and steadfast in our commitment to peace and prosperity. Together we shall rise above all the challenges and birth a new era of growth and thrive above all.
Therefore, I urge us all to move toward applying wisdom in all and promote the common good of our society, let us continue in fervent prayers for the peace and prosperity of our nation.
Hon. Abejide encouraged the people to embrace the true meaning of Easter; not only in celebration but in renewed dedication to lives of peace, love, and service to society.
