The National President of Eguho Ezzagu Development Union, EEDU, Chief Chinedu Inyere has applauded the Chief Executive Officer of Base-4 Construction Ltd, Chief Linus Nwamba for donating One Million Naira to support the ongoing electricity project in Eguho Ezzagu, Ishielu Local Government area of Ebonyi state.

The electricity project which has gulped over N30 million was being funded by the contributions and levies from the people of the community.

However, paucity of funds has delayed the completion of the project, which has necessitated appeals for funds from spirited individuals outside the community.

Chief Nwamba’s donation came few weeks after another philanthropist and business mogul, Dr Darlington Ugota assisted the community with N5 million for the project and 300KVA transformer by an International business mogul, Chief Emeka Obaji

The Base-4 Construction Boss, who is also the National President of Ezzagu Patriots Association(EPA) is highly reputed for his philanthropic and humanitarian gestures.

In his commendation, President Inyere noted that Nwamba’s donation has rekindled the resilience and deep commitment of Eguho people to complete the project.

According to Chief Inyere: ” On behalf of my executives and the entire people of Eguho community, I want to sincerely thank out brother, Chief Linus Nwamba for support us with one million Naira for our electricity project in Eguho”.

“We are very happy for Chief Nwamba not because of his donation, but he has consistently shown great commitment and passion to the unity, love and development of the entire Ezzagu community”.

“We are glad to say that this support has touched us positively in so many ways, and it has rekindled our resilience not minding the paucity of funds, to actualize the project”.

“The project has gulped over N30 million and we have not achieved up to 60 percent financing requirements to accomplish the project. And that was why we appealed to the government, individuals and group to assist the people of Eguho to achieve this project”.

Chief Inyere further appealed for financial supports from well meaning Nigerians to actualize the uncommon dream of bringing electricity to Eguho community over many centuries in darkness.
