Eid-al-Fitr: Minister of Steel Development congratulates Muslim Ummah
…encourages Nigerians to uphold the teachings of the holy month of Ramadan
The Minister of Steel Development, Prince Shuaibu Abubakar Audu, has congratulated the Muslim Ummah across the country on the rewarding completion of Ramadan as they celebrate this year’s Eid-el-Fitr.
In a message, conveyed through a statement signed by his media aide, Munirat Lecky in Abuja, Prince Audu urged Nigerians to remember the teachings of Ramadan: sacrifice, discipline, and empathy, as we conclude the holy month.
He urged all Nigerians, irrespective of religion, to be their brother’s keeper, and promote compassion, understanding, and unity.
“On this auspicious occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, may the Almighty Allah forgive our sins and accept our prayers and fast as an act of Ibadah. May this season be a time for joy and peace in our homes, and unity and blessings for our beloved country.
“Ramadan is a month that teaches us sacrifice, discipline, and empathy, so as we celebrate, let us remember these traits and continue throughout the year, becoming better people and citizens of this great nation.
“Despite our religious differences, Nigerians must demonstrate compassion, understanding, and unity for the betterment of our country. We must extend a helping hand to those in need, be open to the various reforms occurring in the country as it is for the better, and embrace togetherness. We must continue to pray for His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR and our leaders who are working tirelessly to achieve the objectives of Mr President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
“On behalf of myself, my family, the staff and management of the Federal Ministry of Steel Development, I wish the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria a happy Eid-el-Fitr,” Minister Audu declared.
