EID-EL-FITR: BAUCHI SPEAKER FELICITATES WITH MUSLIMS, ENJOINS THEM TO SUSTAIN VIRTUES OF RAMADAN
Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Abubakar Y Suleiman sends felicitations to Muslim Ummah on the occasion of the 2023 eid-el-fitr celebration.
The Speaker describes the period as a turning point in the life of every Muslim because it marks the end of Ramadan, a spiritual period for Muslims in which every faithful fasts, performs more acts of worship and shields self from any act of sin.
He urges Muslims to sustain the virtues of the month of Ramadan which include devotion to the worship of Almighty Allah, brotherhood, love, philanthropy, repentance and fear of Allah.
Speaker Abubakar Y Suleiman who said that the fact that Ramadan came immediately after the 2023 general elections, Nigerians have gotten rare opportunity in which they used the sacred period to fervently pray for the newly elected leaders and for solutions to all problems affecting the Country, urges them to sustain the prayers even as Ramadan is gone because prayers are key to the success of every leadership and society.
He assured people of Bauchi State that the trust they once again reposed in them during the recently concluded elections will be justified in which they will redouble effort to ensure the continuity of good governance and transformations being carried out by Governor Bala Abdulkadir Muhammad.
While saying Barka da Sallah to all Muslims, the Speaker prays for happiest and peaceful celebrations.
