Eid-el-Fitr: Hajiya Ramatu Ibrahim Felicitates Muslim Faithful, Calls for Religious Tolerance and National Unity
The Director of Contact and Mobilization, North Central Zone of the City Boy Movement, , has extended her warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah in Nigeria and across the world on the blissful occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
Hajiya Ramatu Ibrahim, who also holds the revered traditional titles of Jaruma Mata of Africa and Omi-Akele Atta Igala, congratulated Muslim faithful for their devotion, sacrifice, and steadfastness throughout the Ramadan fast. She noted that the spiritual discipline observed during the period should translate into sustained acts of compassion, generosity, and righteousness in daily life.
In her Eid message, she called on Nigerians, irrespective of religious or ethnic differences, to embrace unity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence as essential pillars for national growth and stability.

Hajiya Ramatu Ibrahim emphasized the need for continued prayers for the peace, security, and prosperity of Nigeria, especially at a time when national cohesion remains critical.
“Our strength as a nation lies in our diversity. We must continue to respect one another’s beliefs and foster an environment where unity thrives over division. Religious tolerance is not optional; it is a necessity for sustainable development,” she added.
She further urged leaders at all levels to prioritize policies and actions that promote inclusiveness, equity, and social harmony, noting that collective responsibility is key to nation-building.
“Let this festive season inspire us to extend kindness to the less privileged, support one another, and renew our commitment to building a better and more united Nigeria,” she stated.
