Eid-El-Fitr: Let The Lessons Of Ramadan Be Your Guide, Hon Leke Abejide Urges Muslim Ummah.
The Honorable Member Representing Yagba East, Yagba West and Mopamuro Federal Constituency, Hon. Leke Abejide has extended warm greetings and heartfelt wishes to the Muslim Ummah on the completion of this year’s Ramadan fast and celebration of eid-el-fitr.
In his message, Abejide noted that this joyous celebration marks the end of the holy month of ramadan fast, a time of spiritual reflection, self-discipline, and devotion.
He expressed gratitude to Allah for the completion of this year’s ramadan fast and celebrates with all Muslims faithful in Yagba and across the globe, for their dedication towards keeping the month holy, noting that the spiritual exercise and teachings of the holy month should draw them closer to Allah.
Hon. Abejide urged Muslims to continue to promote love and peace through religious tolerance and to make use of lessons learned during Ramadan as guides in relating with one another.
He noted that “Ramadan is a season of spiritual reflection, discipline and sacrifice. It is considered the holiest month in the Islamic calendar, as it is believed that the first verses of the Quran were revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him) during this month”. Abejide urged Muslims and adherents of other faith to live in love, peace, harmony and unity with one another.
“Let us pray for peace and God’s guidance for leaders and Nigeria most importantly Kogi state, we must not relent in prayers and religious harmony with others, irrespective of their beliefs’.
On the occasion of this year’s eid-el-fitr celebration, Hon. Leke Abejide congratulates all Muslims and prayed that Almighty Allah will accept all their prayers and sacrifices throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
