Eid el Fitr: Uphold Virtues of Ramadan, Lent Season,
Halims Admonishes Faithfuls

The Deputy Leader of the House of Representatives and Member Representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency of Kogi State, Rt. Hon (Dr) Abdullahi Ibrahim Ali Halims has called on both Muslims and non Muslim alikes to uphold the teaching of Ramadan and the lent Season.
The Deputy Leader made the call in his congratulatory message to mark the Islam year, 1447AH Eid el Fitr celebration stressing that both Ramadan and the lent is a period of spiritual renewal and not a one time off season that the lessons will be discarded with its conclusion.
Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim Halims enjoyed those who are privileged to uphold their acts of charity and compassion towards the less privileged, emphasised on the need to uphold good moral virtues as well as prayers for the unity and prosperity of Nigeria.
In an emotional tribute, Hon Halims used the opportunity of his Sallah message to condole with the families, friends and acolytes of all those who have been victims of insecurity across the nation. He called on citizens to join hands with the government and other relevant security agencies to fight the nation’s common enemies through intelligence sharing and adherence to security tips.
The People’s Representative urged Muslim faithful to share their merriments with the needy without recourse to faith adherence in the spirit of oneness and further appealed to Islamic clerics to offer special prayers for peace and development all over the country.
While particularly congratulating the good people of Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro Federal Constituency, Halims enjoined them to support the government of His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo as well as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the greater good of Kogi State and Nigeria at large.
