Eid-el-Fitri: Hon. Tahir Suleiman Abdulwahab Felicitates Muslim Faithful, Calls for Unity and Peace in Hong Constituency
Honourable Tahir Suleiman Abdulwahab, an aspirant for the Hong State Constituency seat in the 2027 Adamawa State House of Assembly election under the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful in Hong Constituency and across Adamawa State on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitri.
In his goodwill message, he described Eid-el-Fitri as “a moment of deep spiritual reflection, gratitude to Almighty Allah, and a time to celebrate the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan, which teaches us discipline, sacrifice, patience, and compassion for one another.”
He added, “I heartily congratulate all Muslim faithful in Hong Constituency and Adamawa State for witnessing this year’s Eid-el-Fitri. It is by the mercy and grace of Allah that we are alive to partake in this joyous celebration. May He accept our prayers, fasting, and acts of charity.”
Honourable Abdulwahab urged the people to sustain the virtues imbibed during Ramadan, emphasizing that “the lessons of Ramadan should not end with the fasting period, but must continue to guide our daily lives. We must remain committed to peace, unity, tolerance, and mutual respect, which are essential for the growth and development of our communities.”
He further called on residents of Hong Constituency to use the festive period to strengthen bonds of brotherhood and peaceful coexistence, noting that “our diversity should be our strength, not a source of division. Together, we can build a more united, prosperous, and secure Hong Constituency and Adamawa State.”
While praying for continued peace and progress, he stated, “I pray that this Eid brings renewed hope, abundant blessings, and lasting peace to every household. May Allah grant our leaders wisdom to lead with justice and fairness, and may He continue to protect and guide our dear state and nation.”
The aspirant also reaffirmed his commitment to the welfare of the people, stressing that “my aspiration is driven by a sincere desire to serve, uplift our communities, and ensure that the voices of our people are well represented. With unity and collective effort, we can achieve meaningful development.”
On a final note, the Hong State Constituency Hopeful of Adamawa state House of assembly, wished Muslim faithful a joyous celebration, saying, “Eid Mubarak to you and your families. May this season of celebration fill our hearts with love, strengthen our faith, and usher in greater opportunities for growth and harmony in our land.
