KOGI STATE POLICE COMMAND PRESS RELEASE

EID-EL-KABIR CELEBRATION: CP DANTAWAYE HEARTILY FELICITATE MUSLIM FAITHFUL, ORDERS FOR ADEQUATE SECURITY DEPLOYMENT, CALLS FOR COOPERATION AMONGST THE PEOPLE OF KOGI STATE

The Commissioner of Police, Kogi State Police Command, CP Miller G. Dantawaye, psc heartily felicitate with Muslim Faithful on the occasion of 2025 Eid-El-Kabir celebrations. He has ordered for improved security across the State to ensure crime-free Eid-El-Kabir celebrations.

The CP charged Area Commanders, Tactical Commanders as well as Divisional Police Officers to beef up security ahead of the Eid-El-Kabir celebrations to prevent any untold situation in their respective area of responsibilities.

He further tasked them to conduct a comprehensive visibility policing and equally deploy human and other operational assets to carry out confidence-building and crime prevention patrol along the major highways, places of worship, residential areas and other critical assets as well as undercover operations to identify criminal hideouts, black spots, and flash points to curtail all forms of crimes and ensure a peaceful environment.

To this end, the CP assured the law-abiding people in the State that the Police is ever determined in working synergy with other Security Agencies in ensuring the safety of lives and property during the period. While calling on the good people of the State for their continued cooperation and support by reporting any suspicious activities, or objects around their neighborhood to the security formation nearest to them.
