EID-el-KABIR: Jerry Omodara Greets Muslim, Urges Strategic Collaboration with Security Agencies

The State Security Adviser to Kogi State Government, Commander Jerry Omodara (rtd), has felicitated with Muslims across the country on this year’s celebration of Eid-el-Kabir.

In his Sallah message, Commander Omodara called on Muslims to continue to imbibe the spirit of love, peace, kindness and sacrifice, as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad.

Stating that the country is passing through one of the most trying moments in the history of the nation, the Security Adviser urged Nigerians to renew their faith in God.

He further urged Muslims to preach peace and imbibe the virtues of Prophet Mohammed whose sacrificial and obedient life is the reason for the celebration.

Jerry Omodara, however, reiterates that Governor Ododo’s government remains steadfast in its responsibility to support the safety and wellbeing of our communities. He stated that security men has been strategically deployed to assist in maintaining peace and order during and after the festive period.

He stressed that the directive mandates all Heads of Security Agencies in the State to ensure full mobilization of their men to critical locations such as worship centers, event grounds, parks, and highways, in alignment with local security plans and In cooperation with other relevant bodies.

The security chief further charged all deployed personnel to exhibit the highest standards of discipline, vigilance, and professionalism in the course of duties. “Let our conduct reflect our core values of integrity, service, and patriotism,” he urged.

The statement concluded with a call for citizens to remain security conscious, report suspicious activities, and cooperate with law enforcement and community service bodies.

He reaffirmed his commitment to national peace, unity, and development, and wishes all Muslim faithful a joyful, safe, and spiritually fulfilling Sallah celebration.
