Eid Fitr: Constituents Celebrate Ajaokuta Federal Lawmaker Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem
In the spirit of Eid celebrations, Hon Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem, Member of the House of Representatives for Ajaokuta, toured his constituency to mark the Sallah festivity.
All local monarchs welcomed the lawmaker in their various domains, with the Traditional Council Chairman, HRH Isah Achuja, expressing gratitude for Hon Sanni significant contributions to uplifting the traditional institution. He also commended the lawmaker for his performance in other areas of importance.
In a related event organized by Hon Aliyu Ogido Haruna, the Executive Chairman of Ajaokuta LGA, various stakeholders convened for Sallah Celebration, where Hon. SEA was in attendance.
Constituents and stakeholders who speaks lauded the lawmaker for his remarkable achievements. Speakers emphasized his strong opposition to a proposed bill that would have included Ajaokuta in the new Okura State.
They recognized his efforts that led to the change in the bill, noting how he defended the territory, demographics, and heritage of the people by ensuring Ajaokuta remains a part of the Central Senatorial District of Kogi State.
In his address, Hon Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem congratulated the community on the Eid festivities and pledged to continue working for the benefit of the people. He acknowledged that the ultra-modern hospital built in Badoko is lacking certain essential equipment, which he has already procured. He assured constituents that it will be fully equipped in the coming week to commence operations.
