Ekinrin- Adde Community Honors Isa Salifu with Honorary Chieftaincy Title, as Otunba Akingbade

An Igala man, Dr Isa Salifu has been honoured by the Ekinrin-Adde Traditional Council in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State with a chieftaincy tilted as the Otunba Akingbade during this year annual cultural day of the community.
The event which was full of Pomps and pageantries as the community celebrates the day in grant style with dignitaries from all walks of life gathered to witness this year’s celebration and also to rejoice with them.
The 30th anniversary of the celebration of Ekinrin-Adde day celebration afford the traditional council to honor deserving individuals who have distinguished themselves in their various field of endeavors and also contributed to the overall development of the community and humanity
The Community monarch, Oba Idowu Anthony Bamigbaiye who confered the chieftaincy title said the traditional council under his leadership find Chief (Dr) Isa Salifu worthy as an outstanding personality whose contributions to humanity and the community in particular and Kogi State in general cannot be over emphasized hence, the decision of the council to honour him as the Otunba Akingbade of Ekinrin Ade community
The revered monarch urged Chief (Dr) Isa Salifu to continue to distinguished himself as one of the ambassadors of the community wherever he finds himself, stressing that the community will continue to honour and recognize any deserving personalities that have contributed immensely to the development of the community and humanity.
Speaking to newsmen after the conferment of chieftaincy title of Otunba Akingbade on Chief (Dr) Isa Salifu, he said he was humbled and honoured for the recognition for the chieftaincy title bestowed on him by the people of Ekinrin Ade community, stressing that the recognition would further strengthen the cordial relationship between Kogi West and East respectively.
Chief (Dr) Isa Salifu said he knows much about the community noting that with the recognition, he would continue to do his best for not only the community but humanity at large, noting that the reward for good work is more work.
