As the just concluded June 20 2026 Ekiti Governorship election have been held in which the incumbent.

Governor BAO have been returned elected for another four years as Ekiti Governor, two traditional rulers in the state in persons of HRM Oba Abdulazeez Sulaiman Olaleye Adejuyigbe 4 the Alawo of Awo Ekiti in Irepodun/Ifelodun local government and her royal highness the Regent of Aramoko Sherifat Owolabi Adekemi Adeyemi have both rejoiced and congratulated Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji (BAO), saying he is a fantastic .

Governor who has within his first four years turned Ekiti state to another London in Nigeria in terms of infrastructural development provision, creation of Job opportunity for the youths, tarring of all roads, prompt payment of workers salaries, general improvement on the welfare of all Ekiti traditional rulers among others.

They also used the medium to call on all the sons and daughters of their communities living in diaspora to come around and rally round them and the state government by complimenting their efforts in the development of Awo and Aramoko Ekiti towns.
The traditional rulers of Aramoko Ekiti Regent Sherifat Owolabi Adekemi Adeyemi specifically stated that no witches or witchard is killing anybody again and then prayed that whoever is after the progress and rapid/accelerated development of Aramoko shall continue to excel in life and that no evil will befall the person, while the monarch of Awo Ekiti HRM Oba Abdulazeez Sulaiman Olaleye Adejuyigbe 4 urges the investors not to hesitate in coming to Awo Ekiti for their investments, saying the environment is safe and conducive for their investments and that the security of their lives and properties are guaranteed.

The regent of Aramoko Ekiti again urged all the sons and daughters of her community to make it as a point of duty to come home on Thursday 9th Day of July 2026 for the Aramoko Day festival.
