Once again, the Nigerian public was subjected to the familiar theatrics of Senator Dino Melaye (SDM) during his appearance on Politics Nigeria anchored Seun Okinbaloye, where he made yet another attempt to rewrite history and distort the truth to suit his narrative. But Nigerians are not deceived and will never be deceived again by SDM.

Senator Melaye, known more for his dramatic outbursts and ostentatious lifestyle than for any tangible legislative legacy, is the least qualified to speak about integrity, opposition politics, or patriotism. His attempt to portray the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as an extension of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is not only false but laughably ironic, coming from a man whose political career has been marked by serial party-switching, questionable wealth accumulation, and a glaring absence of grassroots engagement.

1. *On the PDP and Alleged APC Control*
It is ironic that Senator Melaye — who failed woefully to mobilize support even within his local government during the last elections, he lost woefully in his local government; Ijumu LGA — now claims to be the moral compass of the PDP. If the PDP has become what he describes, then it must be asked: what role did he play in its weakening? Did he not benefit immensely from the same party machinery he now criticizes? If Melaye was truly committed to reform, he had every opportunity to build bridges and strengthen internal structures — but instead, he chose to isolate himself, ridicule his colleagues, and engage in personal vendettas.

2. *On His Role in Kogi State Elections*
It is public knowledge that during the 2023 Kogi State Governorship election, Senator Melaye — who was the PDP’s gubernatorial candidate — was nowhere near the polling units. While young people risked their lives under harsh conditions to vote, he was busy recording comedy-style content on social media from the comfort of his home. A candidate who didn’t vote for himself has no moral standing to criticize others or preach about building coalitions.

3. *On the ADC Coalition and “Following Jesus”*
The same Dino Melaye who now claims to follow Jesus Christ has long demonstrated that his true loyalties lie not in faith or values, but in the color of money — Naira, Dollars, and Dirhams. This is a man who has built an empire off the back of political patronage, fueled by the same “common patrimony” he claims to defend. To invoke religion while engaging in such brazen opportunism is not only dishonest — it is blasphemous.

4. *A Word to the Youths*
The youths of Kogi West, Okunland, and indeed Nigeria, must remain vigilant. We cannot continue to recycle the same self-serving politicians who have contributed nothing but noise, scandal, and division. The days of using theatrics and populist banter to hoodwink the masses are over.

Let it be known: *We are ready*. Ready to confront lies with truth. Ready to defend our future. And ready to reject politicians who think Nigeria is a stage for personal drama.

Dino Melaye, we see through your performance. And this time, *the curtain has fallen*.

Signed:
*Hon. Oluwakayode Emmanuel Eseyin.*
*PDP Youth Leader*
*K/B Kogi State*
