Ex Kogi Assembly lawmaker Adakeke dedicate Chieftaincy title, honour to Gov. Ododo
The Secretary, Kogi State Universal Basic Education, (SUBEB) Hon. Alhassan Salisu Adakeke, has been bestowed with a Chieftancy title
and award of excellent service, as the ASAIDU OGBANI (zoko).
Hon. Adakeke, who is a former lawmaker in the Kogi State House of Assembly was given the Chieftancy title and honour by the AHOKO traditional council under the leadership of HRM, Alh. Ibrahim Babawo Na’akaba, the Ohinoyi of Ahoko.
While appreciating the honour, Hon. Adakeke thanked the royal father and his council members for honour.
The former Kogi House of Assembly lawmaker promised to use his new tittle and honour to work for the betterment of the entire AHOKO communities and the society in general.
He further appreciated the Kogi State Governor , Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo for his great work since he assumed office in the State promising that the confidence repose in him to serve as the Secretary in SUBEB will never be taken for granted.
“Once again, I will like to use this medium to thank his Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for recognizing and appointing me into this revered position as the secretary, Kogi State Universal Basic Education Board, (SUBEB). I dedicate this tittle and award of honour to my Principal Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo. I promised to put in my best to contribute my own quota for the development of Kogi State”.
Hon. Adakeke, however, admonished the people of Kogi State to support the policies of the present administration towards moving the State forward.
According to him “Government can not do it alone to succeed. The Government of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is doing is best for the people of Kogi State. So, it very important that Kogites gives him all the desired support to fulfill it campaign promises which he was doing With delightful attention .With the little time he has spent in office, even the blind could see that he has performed well and deserved all our commendations”.
