FARMER GOVERNOR UMARU BAGO PLEDGES MORE DEVELOPMENT IN CHANCHAGA LGA.

Niger State Governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has pledged to continue accord priority to Chanchaga local government area to ensure its rapid growth and development.

The farmer Governor made the pledge when he addressed stakeholders and members of the Council area in continuation of his Statewide project monitoring

He said the local government area which is situated within the State Capital stands as his political root, hence deserves attention.

Farmer Governor Umaru Bago said it is in that consideration that he expanded the State Capital in terms of landmass and embarked on numerous projects that have direct bearing on the people.

The farmer Governor who was delighted and gratitude with the rousing reception he received in the local government area, said his administration will continue to strengthen the love and understanding for more support.

The Deputy Governor of Niger State, Comrade Yakubu Garba appreciated the people for their unwavering support and restated the commitment of the present administration to provide effective service to the people.

Niger East Senator, Mohammed Sani Musa commended the farmer Governor for the infrastructural development and making the State to take the lead in terms of Agriculture in Nigeria.

He reassured him of his continued support and that of his Senatorial District to ensure the success of his administration.

The Commissioner for Justice, and Attorney General of the State, Barr. Nasir Mu’azu, and the Local Government Chairman, Aminu Yakubu Ladan, in their separate remarks said the Council area is proud of the farmer Governor for all his laudable projects in not only the local government but across the State.

They, however, appealed for a drastic measure in addressing the menace of thuggery and other 21st century crimes in the State Capital.

Farmer Governor Umaru Bago thereafter entered the Emir’s Palace for a royal blessing where he promised to expand the Palace and continue to reciprocate the support of the Emirate.

The Emir of Minna, Alh. Umaru Farouk Bahago, appreciated the farmer Governor for his unique style of leadership and his vision for the State, especially the Minna Emirate.

He reaffirmed the unflinching support of the Emirate to the Bago-led administration.

The Royal father then conferred on the farmer Governor, the title of Dausayin Minna.

An award was also presented to the farmer Governor by the Executives from the Unit, Ward, and Local Government levels of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
