The deceased, who was born in 1940, passed away on September 3, 2025, after a prolonged illness.

He leaves behind three wives, 31 children, 127 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 32 great-great-grandchildren.

During the funeral, Pastor Sule of the Church of Christ in Nations delivered a homily titled “Give Your Life to Christ Today,” emphasizing the importance of accepting Jesus Christ as one’s personal savior.

Reverend Afan Ajang, Chairman of R.C.C Fobur, condoled with the family and advised the children of the deceased to discipline their own children as their late father did.

The Deputy Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Isa Madaki Ajiji, and the Deputy Chairman of Jos East Local Government Council, Hon. Yusuf Musa Atsen, also paid their condolences to the family.

They called for religious tolerance and prayed for the well-being of the citizens.

Hon. Ajiji Agwom Ajiji, in a testimony on behalf of the children, described his late father as a disciplinarian who moulded them into who they are today.

The Traditional Council of Afizere Nation also condoled with the family, urging them to take solace in God alone.
