Speaking to newsmen after a courtesy call to the Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, Minister Badaru conveyed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s directives, highlighting strategies aimed at curbing insecurity in the North-West region and across Nigeria. He emphasized the importance of consultations and engagements with the Armed Forces, stakeholders, and affected communities.

“This collaborative approach will enable the review of operational strategies and implement positive changes to enhance security,” Minister Badaru stated.

During his two-day visit to Kaduna State, the Minister visited the Headquarters of Sub-Sector 3 and Section 1 of the Joint Task Force Operation Fansan Yamma in Birnin Gwari, Kaduna State, where he boosted the morale of the troops.

Governor Uba Sani praised the Federal Government’s commitment to regional security, particularly through the Joint Military Command. He urged the Minister to consider bringing Operation Safe Haven under the 1 Division, Kaduna, and lauded the progress of Operation Safe Corridor. The Governor also stressed the need for a Command and Control Centre to better coordinate efforts against terrorists, bandits, kidnappers, and other criminal elements.
