Federal Lawmaker Hails Tinubu For Appointing New CG Nigeria Correctional Service

The Chairman of House of Representatives Committee on Reformational Institution, Comrade Chinedu Ogah has applauded President Bola Tinubu for the appointment of Nwakuche Sylvester Ndidi as the new Controller-General of the Nigerian Correctional Service.
The lawmaker who is representing Ezza South and Ikwo Federal constituency noted thar the President has been steadfast in ensuring that all his appointments conform with federal character principles.
In a statement issued by Ogah’s media aide, Charles Iteshi, the lawmaker also commended the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, for his dedication, commitment, and outstanding work in the ministry.
Ogah said: “I commend the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, for his dedication, commitment, and outstanding work in the ministry”.
“My gratitude also goes to the outgoing Controller-General for his cooperation with correctional officers and efforts to improve the welfare of inmates”.
“I therefore encourage the newly appointed Controller-General to foster strong relationships between staff and inmates”.
“I Ogah urge the new CG to draw upon his expertise and knowledge to ensure best practices are upheld within the Nigerian Correctional Service”.
Ogah further stressed the importance of prioritizing the welfare of inmates and maintaining a high standard of professionalism across all aspects of service.
