Federation of Yagba Student’s Union Honours Alhaji Almaruf Salmonu with Award of Excellence
A frontline aspirant for the Kogi State House of Assembly, Yagba East State Constituency under the platform of All Progressives Congress and the Chairman and Managing Director of Haminet Motors Nigeria Ltd Abuja, Alhaji Almaruf Salmonu, has been honoured by the Yagba Student’s Union in recognition of his monumental contributions to the educational sector of the area.
Receiving the award on his behalf, Chairman of Almaruf Autos, Lagos, Eniola Rasheed, commended the student body for their initiative to honour Alhaji Almaruf Salmonu, who has been consistent in giving back to society in diverse ways.

He described Alhaji Almaruf Salmonu as a notable philanthropist and humanitarian who is always prepared to reach out to the people.
He thanked the Federation of Yagba Student’s Union for the Award of Excellence, dedicating it to the Governor of Kogi State.
“We’re out not for selfish interests but for the interest of the people,” he said, emphasizing his efforts are for the people’s benefit.
Alhaji Almaruf Salmonu is known for his philanthropy, including distributing exercise books, writing materials, and supporting education in Yagba East.
The President of the Federation of Yagba Student’s Union (YSU), Comrade Sherifdeen Hassan, stated that it had become imperative for the union to honour Alhaji Almaruf Salmonu for his giant contributions to the educational sector of Yagba East Local Government, citing his regular distribution of free exercise books, writing materials, donation of a school bus, and payment of school fees for indigent students, not limited to only Yagba East area.
He charged him to continue making the society better for all.
