Felele Accident: Dr. Folabora Bryhm Pays FUL Students’ Transport Fares Amid Protests and School Shutdown

In response to the indefinite closure of Federal University Lokoja (FUL) following student protests over the persistent fatal accidents along the Felele highway,
The protest was in response to the most recent tragic accident that occurred on the Highway on Monday the 17th of February 2025.
The closure of the university, prompted by rising security concerns linked to the student protest concerning road accidents involving students, left many stranded and uncertain.
Demonstrating his unwavering commitment to the welfare of students, Dr. Bryhm paid the transport fare of a significant number of FUL Students. This act of kindness ensured that these students were able to leave the area safely.
His timely intervention has not gone unnoticed as the Bunu Students’ Union (BSU) President in a heartfelt statement, expressed deep appreciation for Dr. Bryhm’s selfless support during this challenging time for students.
“On behalf of the Bunu Students Union, I write publicly and sincerely appreciate your generous payment of students’ transport fares back to their respective homes following the indefinite shutdown of Federal University Lokoja,” wrote Daniel Friday Aiyegboka, the National President of BSU.
Aiyegboka further praised Dr. Bryhm’s generosity, stating, “Your generosity and kindness will always be remembered for good.”
Dr. Bryhm’s swift and compassionate action has earned widespread admiration, as it provided crucial relief to students in distress.
