In a remarkable demonstration of compassion, service, and community responsibility,
Firstmade Foundation, under the visionary leadership of Femi Olusanya, successfully carried out a food support and community outreach programme in Egbe Town, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State, at the weekend.
The initiative, which brought smiles to countless faces, was designed to provide relief and support to vulnerable individuals and families within the community. Through the distribution of food items and essential support materials, the Foundation once again reaffirmed its commitment to improving lives and promoting social welfare.
The event witnessed an atmosphere of joy, gratitude, and hope as beneficiaries, particularly children and less privileged members of the community, received food packages and other forms of assistance. The outreach served as a reminder that collective kindness and humanitarian service remain powerful tools for community transformation.
Speaking during the programme, Femi Olusanya, Founder of Firstmade Foundation, emphasized the Foundation’s unwavering dedication to creating sustainable impact through initiatives focused on education, healthcare, food support, youth empowerment, and community development.
“Our mission is simple: to touch lives, build hope, and create lasting impact. We believe that every act of kindness contributes to a stronger and more compassionate society. Together, we can build a better tomorrow for everyone.”
He noted that the ssuccessful food support outreach in Egbe, a community whose predominant residents are subsistence farmers but who, in the aftermath of the banditary menace ravaging the entire Yagba region, have not been able to go to their farms, further highlights the Foundation’s core values of service, compassion, and community engagement. It also reflects the belief that no individual should be left behind in the pursuit of a better life.
Olusanya listed the foundation’s areas of impact to include education support, healthcare initiatives, food support lrogrammes, community development projects, youth empowerment, and advocacy.
Over the years, Firstmade Foundation has continued to champion projects aimed at uplifting communities, supporting vulnerable groups, promoting health awareness, enhancing educational opportunities, and fostering social development.
Okun Marathon, sponsored by Firstmade Foundation, was inaugurated on December 24, 2024. The event was designed to promote fitness, unity, community development, and tourism in the Okunland region of Kogi State. The inaugural event in 2024 proved highly successful, drawing large crowds and featuring participants from across the region and beyond. The success of the maiden race led to a second highly anticipated edition, which took place in December 2025.
As it continues its journey of humanitarian services, the founder called on well-meaning individuals, organizations, and development partners to join hands with the foundation in expanding the reach of its impactful programmes.
“Together, we can make a difference. Firstmade Foundation Cares is more than a slogan—it’s a commitment to humanity.
