Former AGF Malami Reacts to Bail Granted by Federal High Court.

Former Attorney-General of the Federation and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Abubakar Malami, has welcomed the decision of the Federal High Court in Abuja granting him bail on Wednesday, describing it as a testament to the strength of Nigeria’s judicial system.

In a statement issued shortly after the ruling, Malami said the court’s decision reaffirmed his confidence in the rule of law and due process, principles he noted have guided his public service and professional conduct over the years. He emphasized his respect for the judiciary and pledged full compliance with all bail conditions and lawful directives of the court.

The former AGF urged members of the public to remain calm and patient as the legal process continues, assuring that further clarification on the matter would be provided at the appropriate time. He maintained that he has always acted within the bounds of the law and would continue to do so.
