Former Attorney-General of the Federation and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Abubakar Malami, has welcomed the decision of the Federal High Court in Abuja granting him bail on Wednesday, describing it as a testament to the strength of Nigeria’s judicial system.

In a statement issued shortly after the ruling, Malami said the court’s decision reaffirmed his confidence in the rule of law and due process, principles he noted have guided his public service and professional conduct over the years.
