Former Kogi Assembly Member, Hon Adekunle resigns from PDP, joins APC
A former member of the Kogi State House of Assembly from Ijumu local government area of the state, Hon Adekunle Steven Kolawole has resigned his membership from the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to join the governing All Progressives Congress
He made this known via a letter he penned and signed to the Chairman PDP Iyamoye ward and sighted by DemocracyNewsline stating that his departure is based on his personal conviction to align with the governing party in the state for the overall benefit of his community.
He said he was prepared to join forces with the ruling All Progressives Congress in the state to win the forthcoming Governorship election in the state, stressing that Kogi state cannot afford to continue in the opposition.
