Former Kogi Speaker Condoles Olobatoke’s Family Over demise of son, Olaiya Michael
The former Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly ,Rt. Hon. Kolawole Olushola Matthew, has condoled with the Olobatoke’s family over the sudden demise of their beloved son, Chief Olaiya Michael Olobatoke whose death occurred two day ago.
Kolawole disclosed this in a press statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Lokoja.
According to him, it is devastating for someone to lose one of his trusted hands, especially a beloved son and brother who was active before the ugly incident occurred, praying that God will comfort the family.
He described Olaiya as a promising upcoming young man who worked hard to attain success at his tender age, stressing that a gentleman who has carved a niche for himself as an outstanding entrepreneur, stressing that the people of Kabba/Bunu/Ijumu and Okunland will indeed miss him, considering his monumental contributions within the short period he participated in the political sector of the area.
He said it is sad for someone to lose one of his beloved especially an individual who is blessed to be one of the breadwinners in the family, prayed that God will grant the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable lost.
He also condoled the Kabba (Owe) traditional council led by His Royal Majesty, Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi, the Obaro of Kabba over the sudden demise of one of the illustration sons of Oweland, prayed that God shall put an end to such calamity in the community.
