Former Majority Leader, Bajeh, Chief Aburu and Hajia Mamman Vasta to bag Democracy Newsline Newspaper Awards on community development and humanitarian services

The former Majority Leader of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Muktar Bajeh will tomorrow bag the Democracy Newsline Newspaper Award as an Outstanding State Lawmaker, 2023 while Chief Godspower Aburu of Delta State will also be bestowed with the Community Development Award.

This was disclosed yesterday in Abuja during a press conference where the management gave an update on the preparation of the organization to hold its 13th-year annual lecture and presentation of awards to deserving individuals and organizations who have distinguished themselves in their various fields of endeavor.

According to the publisher, Olugbemi Femi, the media outfit is out to bridge the gap by disseminating credible information that will be educative, informative, and entertaining and also to recognize those who in the real sense qualify to be recognized as this will spur them to work harder and also encourage others to emulate them to have a better society.

He said Hajia Hadiza Mamman Vasta will also be honored with the Humanitarian Award considering her giant contributions to the welfare of  the less privileged in society and women and youth folks in Nigeria hence the management also approved her nomination.

The event is scheduled to be held tomorrow 18th October at National Merit House, Maitama Abuja, by 11 am
