Former Speaker Matthew Kolawole Boosts Ebira Women’s Businesses with ₦500,000

In a heartwarming display of support for women’s empowerment, Rt. Hon. Prince Matthew Kolawole, former Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, has donated ₦500,000 to the Ebira Women Political Movement Cooperative in Kabba, Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area.

He made the donation yesterday when the group paid him a courtesy visit to commend his efforts in supporting various initiatives of government in the area.

He further pledged to sustain his support for women, particularly those involved in small-scale enterprises, noting that empowering them was a key priority.

The generous gesture is aimed at helping the women burst into successful entrepreneurship by boosting their businesses.

The donation was warmly received by the leader of the women’s group, Mrs. Jimoh Omoladun Mary, who expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Prince Kolawole for the kind gesture.

This act of philanthropy underscores Prince Kolawole’s commitment to promoting economic growth and development, particularly at the grassroots level, aligning with his past initiatives, such as the monthly stipend scheme for beneficiaries across Kabba/Bunu’s 15 wards.

As a champion of good governance and development in Kogi State, Prince Kolawole’s contributions have consistently demonstrated his dedication to the welfare of the state’s citizens, especially women and youths.

His leadership and vision have been instrumental in fostering progress in the state.

This initiative is seen as a significant boost to the Ebira women’s economic empowerment and a testament to Prince Kolawole’s enduring legacy as a leader who prioritizes the well-being and development of his community.
