Former Speaker, Matthew Kolawole Congratulates Governor Ododo, Other Muslims Faithful on Eld-el-Kabir Celebration

Former Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Prince Matthew Kolawole has congratulated Governor Ododo Ahmed Usman and other Muslims faithful in Kogi state on the auspicious occasion of this year Eld-el-Kabir Celebration.

He disclosed this in a press statement he signed and made available to newsmen in Lokoja, admonished Muslim faithful not to see the period as only for celebration but also remember to show mercy on the less privileged among them.

Prince Kolawole charged Muslim ummah to use the period of Eid-El-Kibir to pray for peace, unity, prosperity, economic and social development in Kogi state and Nigeria at large

He appeal to Muslim faithful not to allow the lesson of the celebration to be lost in the merry making, but rather uphold it and sustained it in their daily activities.

He used the opportunity call on all Kogites both home and abroad to cooperate and support the administration of Governor Ododo Usman in its efforts to move the state forward.
