Former Speaker Matthew Kolawole Facilitates 500KVA Electric Transformer to Otu-Egunbe Communities

In a significant development aimed at improving the power supply in Kogi State, former Speaker, Rt. Hon. Matthew Kolawole, has facilitated the donation of a 500KVA electric transformer to the Otu-Egunbe community in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area.

The transformer has been mounted and is expected to enhance the electricity supply in the area, addressing the long-standing challenge of power outages.

The community acknowledged the efforts of the former Speaker, who facilitated the transformer through the kindness and humanity of Kogi State Accountant General, Hajia (Dr.) Habibat Oyiza Tijjani and Governor Usman Ododo.

This initiative reflects Kolawole’s commitment to the welfare and development of his constituency.

The installation of the 500KVA transformer, suitable for residential and light commercial loads, is expected to meet the electricity needs of the Otu-Egunbe community.

This development will likely have a positive impact on the lives of residents, enabling them to carry out their daily activities without the burden of frequent power outages.

The community has welcomed this development, expressing gratitude to the former Speaker for his support.

The installation of the transformer is part of a broader effort to improve the power infrastructure in Kogi State, and it is hoped that it will contribute to the overall development of the area.
