Former Speaker, Matthew Kolawole Spreads Joy to Widows and Widowers in Kabba/Bunu Ijumu Federal Constituency

In a heartwarming display of kindness and generosity, the immediate past Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Matthew Olushola Kolawole has celebrated the festive season with widows and widowers in Kabba/Bunu Ijumu Federal Constituency.

Speaking at the event, the former Speaker distributed valuable items and cash gifts of ₦20,000 each to over 60 widows and widowers across the 30 wards of the federal constituency.

Kolawole empathized with the widows and widowers, sharing his own experience of loss.

He prayed that God would continue to be their husband and fill the gap left by their loved ones. “His words of comfort and encouragement brought solace to the beneficiaries, who were visibly touched by his kindness.

Some of the beneficiaries who spoke at the occasion said the charitable initiative is a shining example of Kolawole’s compassion and commitment to the welfare of his constituents., noted that his efforts to bring joy and relief to those who are in need are truly commendable.

“Kolawole’s dedication to his community is evident in his consistent efforts to provide support and assistance to those who need it most. His selflessness and generosity serve as an inspiration to others, and his legacy as a caring and compassionate leader will undoubtedly endure.

”

As the beneficiaries of Kolawole’s kindness continue to celebrate the festive season, they do so with renewed hope and gratitude, thanks to the former Speaker’s generosity.
