Olori Maria Ige Owoniyi was an epitome of love, strength, and service to humanity, Rt. Hon. Kolawole remarked. “Her presence in the Kabba Kingdom was a source of inspiration and hope to many, and her memory will forever be etched in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her. The Kabba community, and indeed the entire state, has lost a true matriarch.

The former Speaker further expressed his solidarity with Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi, offering prayers for comfort and strength during this difficult time. He emphasized that Olori Maria’s legacy of compassion, leadership, and selflessness would continue to inspire those she left behind.

May the almighty grant Oba Solomon and the entire Owoniyi family the strength to bear this great loss, Rt. Hon. Kolawole said. Olori Maria’s legacy will continue to live on through the lives she touched and the example she set as a loving mother, wife, and leader.

Rt. Hon. Kolawole also called on the people of Kabba and beyond to come together in this time of mourning, offering their support and prayers for the grieving family. He urged the community to celebrate Olori Maria’s life and continue her legacy by upholding the values she held dear: love, service, and unity.
