Foundation, RWA INNOVATIVE PROVIDERS LLC extends medical outreach to underserved community in Kogi State

 

A Foundation, RWA INNOVATIVE PROVIDERS LLC, led by Dr. Rukayat O A. Bojuwon, recently conducted a medical outreach program in the Ayegunle-Gbede community in Ijumu LGA of Kogi State.

The team, led by Dr. Rukayat O.A Bojuwon, provided much-needed medical services to the community, which lacks a resident Medical Doctor and struggles with limited access to healthcare.

During the outreach, the team conducted health awareness talks, check-ups, random blood sugar checks to include A1C testing and body mass index assessments. Dr. Rukayat Bojuwon emphasized the importance of such services in a community where many residents cannot afford healthcare outside the area.

The initiative was met with gratitude from the residents, who are facing economic hardships and health challenges. Community leader, Chief Lamidi Maiye Bojuwon, expressed appreciation for the outreach, noting that many residents were unaware of their health status due to lack of access to medical care.

Hajia Othman Nimota , a community member, highlighted the financial barriers preventing residents from seeking medical attention and expressed gratitude for the much-needed services provided by the medical team.

The medical team, comprising dedicated professionals like Juwon Mathew Mojishola, offered tailored advice on health and nutrition to help residents maintain a healthy lifestyle. They assured the community that the outreach would be an ongoing initiative to address their healthcare needs.

The medical outreach by RWA INNOVATIVE PROVIDERS LLC brought hope and relief to the Ayegunle-Gbede community, underscoring the importance of accessible healthcare services for all.

The medical team includes: Kaliat Omolade Mohammed, Mojisola Matthew Juwon, Chief Sifau Omolola Bojuwon, Said Darazi, Nurse Nafisat. Others are members of
Aiyegunle Gbede Student Union:Adekunle Ahmed Musa, Ayomide Ahmed, Jamiu Bako, Ramat Hassan, Muibat Abdulsalam and Kareem Aminu.
