Expressing his gratitude, Hon. Kadawa described the honor as a significant milestone in his career. “This recognition encourages us to redouble our efforts in supporting the education sector. I am deeply honored to be selected and turbaned as Sardaunan Daliban Arewa. Out of the 44 local government chairmen in Kano State, I am humbled to be chosen for this prestigious title. I thank NANS for this recognition and also thank God for granting me the opportunity to serve as Chairman of Garun Mallam Local Government,” he said.
Hon. Kadawa reassured students across the local government area of his administration’s unwavering support, including scholarships and other necessary assistance to ease the challenges they face in their studies. “Education is the backbone of our society, and my administration remains committed to ensuring no student is left behind,” he added.
Speaking on behalf of NANS, the National President, Comrade Muhammad Bello Bala, represented by the Secretary-General, Ambassador Comrade Faruq M. Rabiu, explained the decision to turban Hon. Kadawa. He praised the chairman’s dedication, hard work, and unrelenting support for the education sector, particularly in Garun Mallam. “When leaders invest in the education of youths, they are building a future for generations. Education is the foundation of societal development, and we will continue to honor leaders who share this vision,” he noted.
