GMD SGC, UBEIDA CELEBRATES DEMOCRACY DAY, EMPHASIZES ECONOMIC FREEDOM AND INNOVATION

June 12 – On this Democracy Day, renowned business leader and founder of Sainif Group of Companies, Alhaji Abdullahi Ubeida joins the rest of Nigerians to celebrate Democracy Day.

Ubeida in his press statement signed and made public reference to the sacrifice Chief MKO Abiola paid to restore democracy in Nigeria.

He said Abiola’s sacrifice did not go unnoticed because President Bola Tinubu, who understands the pain he went through, recognised the day and honoured him by declaring June 12, as the official democracy day.

“We at the Sainif Group of Companies salute MKO Abiola’s sacrifice and the president’s courage globally,” Ubeida said.

Abdullahi Ubeida reflects on the importance of democratic values in fostering economic growth and innovation and stated.

“Democracy provides the foundation for entrepreneurship, innovation, and progress and as Nigerians celebrate this day, I recognize the power of freedom, choice, and individual initiative in shaping the nation’s economy and society,” Ubeida said.

He emphasizes the need to protect and promote democratic institutions, ensuring continued economic opportunities and growth.

Abdullahi called on Nigerians to support President Tinubu in redefining the economic space in the country, noting that tax reforms are geared towards improving people’s wellbeing but if the taxpayers refuse to pay, it will amount to ineffectiveness of the tax reform efforts.

The business tycoon wants the Federal and State Governments to look into things that reduce stress and early death among the people by providing policies and agencies to champion the well being of people through acquiring affordable accommodation or homes for all, good roads for motorists across the nation, Quality health care facilities, more commodity markets, and a structured ecosystem for all.

With these put in place, life will be better and the death rate will reduce across Nigeria.

Signed
Alhaji Abdullahi Ubeida.
