Gov Ododo eulogizes Special Advisers Forum during visit, says they’ve demonstrated trustworthiness in service

The Governor of Kogi State, Alh Ahmed Ododo has described all Special Advisers under his administrations as trustworthy and deserved to be entrusted with more assignments. He made the remarks while making a host to the Forum of Special Advisers on a visit to him.

Governor Ododo said his administration is cruising on the solid foundations laid by his predecessor and expressed delight that his Special Adviser are assisting him to get job of good governance done through consolidation and continuity. The Governor said he is proud of the work Special Advisers are doing and that they have shown that they can be trusted with their conducts and activities. He charged them not to relent but continue to bridge the gap at grassroots level and in their various areas of portfolio for the good of all.

In his speech, the Governor said Kogi is blessed and his administration is ready, prepared and already doing everything possible to harness the enormous potentials for the shared prosperity of all. He emphasized the need for unity across the state and challenge all appointees to continue to make sacrifices that will make life more meaningful for the people of the state.

He commended the forum on the success of the First Ododo Free Medical Outreach that assisted over one thousand three hundred people to get free medical opportunities. He promised to flag off the quarterly project that will remain a permanent way of providing more access to free medical services for indigent people.

Earlier in his welcome address, Chairman and leader of the forum who doubles as the Special Adviser on Energy, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi Mnipr praised the Governor for his giant strides that have become the talking point of every Kogites across tribe, religion and political affiliation. He thanked the Governor for considering them worthy of their current appointment and assured that they will not let him down.

The chairman briefed the Governor on the success story of their free medical outreach and promised that the forum will sustain the tempo.

Omoluabi also said part of the aim of the visit by the forum was to officially congratulate him for his one year in office, giant strides in term of performance and pray for his for greater success.

Christian and Islamic prayers for the Governor were led by Hon Bozi from Lokoja and Hon Thomas Offor from Ibaji LGA
