Gov Ododo Pays Respects to Late President Muhammadu Buhari in Daura, Kastina

Earlier today, the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, FCA, joined other leaders, both past and present, to give former President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, a State burial at his country home in Daura, Kastina State.

The Governor who was represented by his Deputy, Comrade Joel Salifu attended the rites in company of the former Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, CON.

In the entourage of the Deputy Governor were; Hon. Muiz Yinus Abdullahi, SAN, the State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Hon. Timothy Ojoma, Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, and aides.

Former President Muhammadu Buhari passed away on the 13th of July 2025, at the venerable age of 82, after a protracted illness, at a clinic in London. He was interred shortly after prayers at his Daura residence in Kastina State.
