Gov.Ododo’s Aide Commends Kogi First Lady On Kogi Rehabilitation Centre
The Senior Special Assistant to Kogi State Governor,Usman Ododo on Drug Rehabilitation, Comrade Richard Otitoleke has described the Kogi State First Lady,Her Excellency Hajiya Sefinat Usman Ododo as a true matriarch of the state and selfless humanitarian with compassionate heart for humanity.
Comrade Richard in a statement made available to Press men in Lokoja on Thursday,minced no words in his expression of his excitement of the giant move of the First Lady Hajiya Sefinat Usman Ododo to give a befitting Drug Rehabilitation Centre in the state.
He further said “the First Lady has demonstrated a rare humanitarian gesture that has given hope to those who are under drug addictions and have suffered metal health related behaviors, to be productive again and be useful to the society. This is unprecedented and we appeal to all stakeholders to join hands with government of the performing Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo to fight the menace of drugs trafficking,abuse and the negative consequences on the society”

Comrade Richard added “the governor has taken the issue of drugs trafficking and abuse in the state as a serious menace to be tackled headlong and that is why he has assembled capable hands as his foots soldiers to control this deadly social vices. Today we have a Special Adviser to the governor on Drug trafficking and illicit use , capable Hon. Eunice Achimugu and three _Senior_ Special Assistants for this purpose ”
It should be recalled that the First Lady made the announcement of the establishment of a “befitting Rehabilitation Centre” for Kogi State at the glass house, government house in Lokoja on Wednesday 26th June being the United World Drug Day. The development that has really attracted commendations from many stakeholders and the youths constituency in the state.
