GOVERNOR BELLO MOURNS ELULU OF MOPA, HRH. OBA JULIUS JOLEDO, JP
Kogi State Governor, His Excellency Yahaya Bello, CON, has been deeply saddened and shocked by the passing of HRM Oba Julius Olufunsho Joledo (JP), The Elulu of Mopa land and Chairman of the Mopamuro Traditional Council.
Governor Bello expressed his grief and described Oba Joledo as a compassionate and development-focused royal leader who dedicated his life to serving his people selflessly.
He extended his heartfelt condolences to the family, the Mopa Traditional Council, and the Mopamuro Traditional Council, recognizing the significant loss they’ve endured.

Governor Bello acknowledged the wisdom, integrity, and remarkable conflict resolution skills of Kabiesi, which will be greatly missed.
As he prayed for the peaceful repose of the King’s soul, the Governor encouraged everyone to remember the era of HRM Oba Julius Olufunsho Joledo JP as a time of peace, prosperity and urged all to continue living in harmony with one another.
HRM Oba Julius Olufunsho Joledo JP passed on at the age of 83.
