Governor Ododo Congratulates Prof. Gbenga Ibileye on Historic Appointment as Vice-Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja

Lokoja, Kogi State – The Government and people of Kogi State have extended their heartfelt congratulations to Professor Gbenga Ibileye on his appointment as the first internally appointed Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University Lokoja.
In a statement signed by Mrs. Folashade Arike Ayoade, Ph.D, Secretary to the Government of Kogi State, the Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, expressed confidence that Prof. Ibileye’s wealth of experience, accessible leadership style, and decades of institutional service would propel the University to new heights of academic and institutional excellence.
The statement described Prof. Ibileye’s appointment as a testament to his dedication, scholarly contributions, and unwavering commitment to academic excellence. It highlighted his distinguished career, marked by decades of leadership and a proven ability to secure vital funding, noting that these accomplishments had perfectly prepared him for the Vice-Chancellorship.
