Governor Ododo’s Free Education Policy Lauded for Empowering Children of the Poor, Says Obafemi Rufus, education Commissioner’s Aide

Comrd. Obafemi Rufus, the aide to the Honourable Commissioner for Education in Kogi State, has commended Governor Alhaji Usman Ododo for his dedication to ensuring education is accessible to every child in the state.

Rufus praised the governor for his various initiatives, including the payment of examination fees for students which has enabled children from low-income families to have access to education. He also commended the bursary award payments to Kogi State indigenes in tertiary institutions, several scholarship schemes, and the funding of JAMB registration for eligible candidates.

“Your excellency sir, your commitment to the plights of the poor in Kogi State is truly commendable,” Rufus said. “By paying for all internal and external examinations, making education free in public schools, and providing financial support for students, you have shown yourself to be a great leader.”

Rufus, popularly known as “EyanWemiJones,” offered prayers for Governor Ododo’s tenure, saying, “May your leadership be fruitful and prosperous for the good people of Kogi State.”

Governor Ododo’s efforts in the education sector have not gone unnoticed, with many stakeholders in the state commending his proactive approach to improving the quality of education and ensuring that every child has the opportunity to learn and succeed.

The Governor has consistently prioritized education in his administration, recognizing it as a key driver of socio-economic development and a pathway to a brighter future for the people of Kogi State.

As the state continues to strive for progress and prosperity, Governor Ododo’s commitment to accessible education will undoubtedly play a crucial role in shaping the future of Kogi State, ensuring that generations to come have the tools they need to succeed.
