Governor Sheriff’ Oborevwori Commends Emorock Concept Limited As He Conducts Inspection Visit To ongoing Projects in Delta State

His Excellency, RT Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, the Executive Governor of Delta State in a bid to assess the progress of ongoing projects in Delta State, on Wednesday 6th March, 2024
embarked on an extensive inspection tour of ongoing projects across the State for on the spot evaluation to affirm projects are executed to specification.

In his visit to the Construction/Rehabilitation of Emevor- lvrogbo – Orogun Road (Phase 1) at Emevor town, in Isoko North Local Govt. Area project site being executed by Emorock Concept Ltd, a subsidiary of De Wayles Group of Companies, the Governor’s arrival was heralded with an air of anticipation opposite James Welch Grammar School, his first port of call, which is the entrance to the ongoing road, currently under construction. He was accompanied by Hon. Chief Charles Aniagwu, Delta State Commissioner for Works (Rural), Engr. Solomon Aragba, Director, in the Ministry of Works and other top Government functionaries.

His Excelency, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori stressed that Emorock Concept Limited strides in the Construction industry is highly commendable, remarking that the company is a strong and dependable stakeholder in the drive towards actualization of the MORE Agenda for the benefit of the good people of Delta State.
He particularly acknowledged ERCL at ensuring that the Emevor road construction project will be delivered in due time, considering the extent of works so far accomplished at the moment, assuring of continued patronage by the Delta State Government.

The Governor went further to state that, the organisation has established itself as a reputable entity within Nigeria’s construction sector, consistently delivering projects of exceptional quality and standards, dedicated to excellence, and earning it’s recognition as a reliable partner in the developmental efforts of Delta State.”

The Governor expressed his satisfaction with the progress achieved by the Company on various aspect of the projects, including the deep double drain on the shoulders of the road to ensure free flow of water, in order to promote flood control, quality of materials utilized, viable equipment alongside highly experienced and diligent crop of Engineers.

He commended ERCL for its unwavering commitment to delivering projects within stipulated timeline while maintaining compliance with highest quality standards, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between the Government and private sector entities in driving sustainable development initiatives across the state.

HRM Dr. John Holt Ologho, the Odion of Emevor Kingdom in his remark, thanked
Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for the laudable road project connecting Emevor, lvrogbo and Orogun kingdoms.
The Emevor Royal Father who played earnestly for the success of the Oborevwori administration also made a compassionate appeal for the Delta State Government to establish Central Hospital in Emezor to. improve on the health status of his subjects.

In response to the Governor’s commendation, the Company Projects Director, Engr. Oghale Agelebe reaffirmed ERCL continued commitment to upholding utmost level of professionalism in the handling and execution of engineering construction activities and will not take the the rare privilege of partnering with the Delta state Government for granted. He expressed gratitude for the recognition and further appreciated the Governor for the continued confidence reposed on Emo Rock Concept Ltd, reiterating the company’s dedication to contributing to the socio-economic and infrastructural advancement of Delta state, and reassuring that the Emevor road construction project will be completed in record time.

The visit served as a testament to the synergy between the government and indigenous companies fostering meaningful progress and development within the state. As Governor Oborevwori concluded his inspection tour, he re-emphasized his administration’s commitment to fostering partnership with stakeholders across all sectors to achieve the collective goal of building a prosperous and sustainable Delta State for all its citizens as enshrined in the MORE Agenda.

With the company’s continued dedication and the government’s unwavering support, the future of infrastructural development in Delta State appears promising, paving the way for enhanced socio-economic growth and prosperity for generations to come.
