Governor Umar Namadi Pays Courtesy Visit to Minister of Defence Mohammed Badaru Abubakar in Abuja

The Executive Governor of Jigawa State, His Excellency Mallam Umar A. Namadi, FCA, on Monday, February 3, 2025, paid a courtesy visit to the Honourable Minister of Defence, His Excellency Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, CON, mni, at his residence in Asokoro, Abuja.
Governor Namadi was accompanied by prominent Jigawa State leaders, including the All Progressives Congress (APC) leader in the state, Alhaji Isah Gerawa; Alhaji Lawan Ya’u Roni; Alhaji Hashim Ubale Yusuf; and the Secretary to the Jigawa State Government (SSG), Mallam Bala Ibrahim Birnin Kudu.
During the visit, Governor Namadi and Minister Badaru Abubakar engaged in discussions on matters of mutual interest, particularly those relating to the security and development of Jigawa State and the nation at large. The Governor commended the Minister for his dedication to national security and his contributions to the progress of Jigawa State.
In his remarks, Minister Badaru Abubakar expressed appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting initiatives that would enhance peace, security, and economic development in Jigawa State. He also acknowledged the efforts of Governor Namadi’s administration in promoting good governance and sustainable development in the state.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the leaders to strengthen their collaboration and reaffirm their commitment to working together for the benefit of Jigawa State and Nigeria as a whole.
The visit concluded with goodwill messages and assurances of continued cooperation between the Jigawa State Government and the Federal Ministry of Defence.
