GOVERNOR UMARU BAGO ATTENDS THE WEDDING RECEPTION OF HOUSE OF REPS MEMBER, SAIDU ABDULLAHI AND ZAINAB ABDULLAHI
Niger State Governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago was among prominent guests at the wedding reception of the Member representing Bida/Gbako/Katcha Federal Constituency, Saidu Musa Abdullahi and his wife Zainab Abdullahi.
The reception, which took place in Abuja, was graciously attended by highly placed politicians and close associates of the couple.
In his remarks, farmer Governor Umaru Bago congratulated the couple, and wished them a happy and joyous marriage.
He advised the couple not to allow a third party in their marriage so that their marriage would stand strong.
The farmer Governor assured the bride that she is safe in the hands of Musa Abdullahi as he is a good man who is well cultured and has good moral values.
The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, Speaker, House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, and former Niger South Senator, Sen. Zainab Kure in their separate remarks, showered encomiums on the couple, advised them on how to make their marriage a model, and prayed for Allah’s guidance and in their marriage.
Friends of the bride and the groom also extolled the virtues of the couple and wished them a peaceful and blissful marriage.
High point of the event was the cutting of cake, and a dance by the couple, to the admiration of the guests who were also treated to a sumptuous meal.
Other dignitaries at the event were the Deputy Speaker, House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, serving and retired federal as well as State lawmakers, members of the Niger State Executive Council, top government functionaries, family members and well-wishers of the couple.
