Guber Poll:Buba holds meeting with Eggan Ward, task electorate to secure Ododo Victory

Barely 24 hours to the much awaited Governorship election in Kogi State, the Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development Hajia Fatima Kabir Buba has held meeting with electorate in Eggan with a charge for them to ensure hundred percent victory for the ruling All Progressive Congress, (APC).

Buba gave the charge on Thursday when she met party stakeholders and supporter in Eggan ward under Lokoja Local Government Area of Kogi State.

The Commissioner, who predicted victory for the APC Governorship candidate Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo stated that, the party will consolidate on the achievement of Governor Yahaya Bello.

According to the Commissioner, the People of Eggan ward have resolved to vote massively for the APC, adding that, there is no vacancy in Lokoja.

She averred further that, the people of Eggan ward will forever be grateful to Governor Yahaya Bello for his impact in the lives of Kogites since he assumed office in January 2016.

” APC is the only party that has the best structure in Kogi State. Under the present administration, we have witnessed unprecedented development in Kogi State compared to past leadership.

“It will be a disservice to our dear State to leave light and follow darkness. APC is the light and it is important that Eggan ward keep in shining. For me, this Saturday election is already done and dusted for our Candidate Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo the flower Boy”.

Buba pointed out that in the event of considering all options to choose who will lead kogites in another four years, the APC Governorship candidate, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo remains the best option for kogites.

She stressed further that Kogites have no reason not to vote for the APC Governorship candidate, considering the fact that Governor Yahaha Bello’s remarkable and human oriented projects are seen across the nooks and crannies of Kogi state.

The Commissioner also reminded the people of Eggan ward that Governor Yahaya Bello has done well in Lokoja, the State capital.

” Our performing Governor constructed Kogi Revenue House, Lokoja, Mohammadu Buhari Civic Centre, Lokoja, Ganaja Junction Fly-Over, Lokoja, GYB Model Science Secondary School project, Lokoja, building of Government House Chapel and Government House Jumaat mosque, go to Kogi state polytechnic.

“The Governor has done well and the people should reciprocate on Saturday by voting Massively for Ahmed Usman Ododo so that we can continue to enjoy more gains of democracy in Kogi state.

“I want to appeal to Kogites not to be deceived by the antics of some people who have nothing to offer them but to come and protect their selfish interest even above public interest.

“The APC Governorship candidate has the capacity, connection, experience, exposure and wisdom to lead Kogi state to a great level. Let us vote for APC for a prosperous Kogi state of our dream” she stated.
