Gunmen Kidnap 3 Travelers, 1 escape Along Ayere-Kabba Highway, as two vehicles collided

Three travelers traveling to Abuja have been kidnapped along the Aiyere and Kabba highways, while one escaped two days ago.

According to an impeccable source who doesn’t want his name in print, a fairly used (Tokunbo) Camry ( Big Daddy) and a Toyota Hiace (Bumper) were attacked by the unknown gunmen numbering eight and dressed in military uniform/ camouflage.

According to the source, both vehicles were said to be traveling to Abuja coming from the Ondo axis. The Camry suddenly entered into the siege laid by the kidnappers and made a sudden u-turn, and the bus ran into it and caused the accident.

However, it was gathered that three (3) passengers in the Camry car were whisked away by the kidnappers, and one later escaped, while eight passengers in the bus who sustained various degrees of injuries were taken to St John Catholic Hospital, Kabba, for treatment and since being discharged.

The information further confirmed that the Chairman of Ijumu Local Government Area, Hon. Haruna Dstv immediately directed the security agencies in collaboration with the hunters to commence rescue operations to rescue the kidnapped victims.
